Live scribing at the Utterly Content design conference

In March, I had the absolute pleasure of doing live scribing at the Utterly Content Design Festival. Design conferences are always a great experience for me because, not only do I get to learn a lot of practical things I can apply to my work, but content designers are often masterful storytellers. This makes for fun and engaging talks that are a joy to capture through live scribing.

Being able to illustrate the ideas and stories in real-time really brings the energy of the event to life. The combination of great storytelling and live visuals creates a powerful way for attendees to connect with and retain the key messages from each session. It’s always exciting to see how each speaker’s story unfolds and knowing that the visual summaries help people remember and reflect on the experience long after the event is over.

How the live illustrations lived on

After the event, the Utterly Content team went the extra mile and printed the visuals. Then they mailed them to the speakers, who really appreciated the thoughtful gesture.

If you are planning an event and would like to include scribing, feel free to reach out.
