Sketchnote Army podcast interview: How I became a graphic recorder and fell in love with live illustration and mural painting
Mike Rohde is a legend when it comes to sketchnoting. He is the author of The Sketchnote Handbook which, since it’s been published ten years ago, has introduced countless people to the basic concepts of visual notetaking. Mike has done a lot to put sketchnoting on the map, and his work has also influenced my personal and professional journey as a live illustrator and graphic recorder.
That’s why it was a huge honour for me to be invited to the Sketchnote Army podcast. In the interview, we spoke about how I moved from Budapest to Brussels, how I became a professional sketchnoter and I even shared with him my love for painting large scale murals and inviting others into the process. It was an absolute blast to talk to Mike and I highly recommend all the Sketchnote Army episodes, because he puts a lot of effort into finding interesting people who are all connected by their love of making ideas visible.
