20-page fully illustrated annual report for Relay Ventures. The annual report showcases the different companies in RV's portfolio and features a couple of infographics related to its growth and values.
Infographic for the ONE campaign. I made this infographic for ONE's Power Summit about how they create change. The process started with an initial brainstorm where we drafted the content together. After finalizing the text, I got to drawing and about three-four rounds of back and forth later, the infographic was finished. It will be used to introduce the work of ONE and as an aid to train volunteers.
Live digital sketchnotes at Crative Mornings DC. I go to CMDC events regularly to listen to great people talk about what they do and also to work my drawings muscles.
Set of illustrations, postcards and poster for grocery store opening. I was asked by one of the coolest DC brands, Glen's Garden Market, to create illustrations for some of the products they carry, on the occasion of opening their new location in Shaw! During the #24daysofglens campaign, my illustrations were featured on Glens's instagram account, and posters and postcards were all around their stores. I had such a fun time working on this project, and also realized that I love drawing food items and/or products with great packaging. Thanks for the great experience to Kim Bryden from Cureate!
Social Innovation Festival - 2015. I was participating in an artist residency program organized by Arts in Praxis, and drew for four days at the Social Innovation Festival in DC. It was a very inspiring event full of innovative ideas, all around the difficult subject of mass incarceration. All the drawings were created live on an iPad.
Live digital sketchnotes at TedxMidAtlantic in Washington, DC, 2015. The images are created digitally with an iPad, and by the time the speaker is finished with their talk, a visual summary is ready to be shared on social media and via email to foster conversation online.
Illustrated infographics for Equal Footing.
The Equal Footing project looks and how foundations spend their money in Rwanda, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. For the launch, I created 10 infographics exploring in depth some of the issues women face in these countries.
